Prayer for the Persecuted Church

Many voices from around the world are crying out on behalf of persecuted Christians. It is immensely tragic thought that the Global Media fails to acknowledge that most attacks on Christians, their churches and personal property are usually perpetrated by Muslims.
It is equally tragic that Christian leaders tend to blame 'Islamic Fundamentalists' for such attacks. The reality is that this is rarely the case, for these attacks are committed by ordinary men, who believe that their religion is under threat.
It is important to understand and accept the reality of Quranic passages such as Sura 2:191 & 193 -'And slay them wherever you find them and drive them out of the places whence they drove you out for persecution is worse than slaughter.... And fight them (i.e. Jews and Christians) until persecution is no more, and religion is for Allah...let there be no hostility except against wrong doers.'
Only recently a Pakistani Christian shopkeeper was severely beaten for perceived wrong-doing. Throughout the Islamic world, Muslims are rising up against Christians.
Can this happen in Australia or the United States of America?
Look to Europe!
Only a decade ago, Europeans would have (and some did so only 3 years ago) laughed into our faces at such a suggestion. Today, European politicians (e.g. Angela Merkel of Germany) willingly acknowledge that the negative birthrate of Europe is virtually handing the continent over to Islamic rule.
As far as the USA is concerned, one seriously needs to ponder the question whether President Obama is more a Muslim at heart than anything else. One thing is certain: what the Bible teaches about Israel and the Jewish people mattered little to the Presidents before him and seems to matter even a lot less to him.
The challenge before us is to take note of what is happening to churches throughout the 10/40 window. If there is a violent Jihad happening among them, there is a silent one in progress in our nation through a steady process of 'white-anting'. Are you aware of the huge numbers of students in our Universities from Islamic nations? Come to Kelvin Grove Campus in Brisbane and get educated on the latest in 'Hijab and Burka' fashions!
How long will our churches be able to go on with their entertainment focussed 'Services', before crunch comes for us!
Please pray for the persecuted church and pray also that the Western Church may awaken to the Global reality that Islam intends to rule the world -

because Allah commands it!

Malaysia to restore 'Allah' ban for Christians

The Malaysian government will issue a new decree restoring a ban on Christian publications using the word "Allah" to refer to God, officials said Sunday.
Home Affairs Minister Syed Hamid Albar said a previous Feb. 16 decree that allowed Christian publications to use the word as long as they specified the material was not for Muslims was a mistake, the national Bernama news agency reported.
The about-turn came after Islamic groups slammed the government and warned that even conditional use of the word by Christians would anger Muslims, who make up the country's majority.
A senior ministry official confirmed Syed Hamid's comments, saying there were "interpretation mistakes" in the Feb. 16 decree that led to the confusion.
"'Allah' cannot be used for other religions except Islam because it might confuse Muslims. This is the ministry's stand and it hasn't changed," the official, who declined to be named citing protocol, told The Associated Press.
The question I am bound to ask here is, "why do Christians insist to liken the God of the Bible with Allah, when Muslims the world over, are clear that there is no god but Allah!
Will Christians ever become capable of learning that syncretism does not promote truth!
